Steampunk Hunter goggles on western tophatby ~Arsenal-Best

It's goggle time...
I finally decided to upload my goggles. After all the other steampunk stuff, getting this trademark of the genre online was overdue.

These were made spring 2011.
Besides the usual standard goggles as basis, I used genuine leather for the covering skin and all straps, brass sheet for the sunshades and various tubing, wires and gears and some small corked glass flasks.

The crosshaired sight is up and downwards moveable and inspired by, what else could it have been, Jango/Boba Fetts helmet aiming device.
The flasks are an inspiration I got from Leder-Joe

marvelous leather craftsmen, who often use these kind of small glass flasks on their costume parts.
The Tophat was made exactly as it looks in the pic in this used-look new from the fine italian hatmaker capelleria melegari.
