Description

My very first go at making earrings (jewelry in general that is).

Always impressed by :iconyouniquelychic: works, I wanted to try it for myself.
So I created these for Ms. Jules H. Aetherton new amethyst coloured dress.
They are made from retainerrings, brass and steel gearwheels, antique brass watch hands, black 0,3mm copper wire, 0,8mm brass wire, gilded hooks and Swarovski crystals (Amthyst 3mm bicones, 11mm amethyst teardrops, 4,8mm amethyst and 2,8mm Crystal AB flat stones).

They are pretty tiny and just now I can appreciate :iconyouniquelychic: perfection in making this kind of stuff truly.
So if you do like this, you should definitly check out her wonderful creations.
And the best thing about them, you can buy them from her www.etsy.com/de/shop/Youniquel… for really fair prices considering the work behind it.

Hello,

Tara is a dear friend of mine, she loves to create for all her fans and customers. She works very hard to create these awesome pieces of jewelry. So to have another artist come along and recreate her work without permission is very upsetting to those of use who know exactly how hard she works and how much of herself she puts into these designs. To publish these works is even more upsetting. Imagine how you feel if you put your time, blood, sweat and tears into a project then some body else comes along, recreates you designs, then belittles the design process by essentially stating how easy it was to make. It is not right, that is why we have copy right laws. And I am sure Tara is very flattered that you like her designs enough to have the desire to make them, calling them a tribute is still not an excuse for recreating the design with permission. In my personal opinion, if she wanted her work recreated, she would sell tutorials. Maybe next you should contact the artist you want to copy and make sure it is ok to copy that work before you do so, and especially before you publish as your own work. Again, using the word tribute does replace permission from the artist. Without that, it is just wrong. No matter what good intentions you may think you have. And yes, you are a very talented artist, you should be coming up with your designs.
